- Open Outlook and go to File
- Select Options, then navigate to the Calendar tab
- Find and uncheck the option labelled "Add online meeting to all meetings"
This setting lives in Outlook, not in the Teams app itself — if you're searching in the wrong place, that's why you can't find it. Make sure you're in the full Outlook desktop client under File > Options > Calendar.
In practice, you may need to restart Outlook after saving the change for it to take full effect. New calendar appointments created after this change will no longer auto-populate with a Teams meeting link — you can still add one manually when needed.
