How do I Access Voicemail from another Extension or Outside of the Office?

This page explains how to access your ALTA voicemail when you're away from your regular desk phone — whether you're using another Polycom extension inside the office or calling in from any outside phone line.

Q: How do I access voicemail from another extension or outside of the office?
A: To access voicemail from a non-ALTA or not your standard desk phone, please do the following:
If you are attempting to access from another ALTA Polycom desk phone that isn't your regular phone:

Tap the "Voicemail" icon or button.
You will hear a voice prompt. Press *
You will then receive a voice prompt asking for your extension. Type in the extension. Press #.
Type in your voicemail passcode and hit #
After hitting #, it will bring you to your voicemail box.

If you are calling from a non-ALTA phone, please do the following:

Dial your 202 number.
Let the call ring to voicemail.
Press *
Dial your extension and press #.
Type in your passcode and hit #.

Both methods will take you to your voicemail.
