Made with DASH A.i.New Outlook represents a significant interface and architecture change from classic Outlook. While the page content is currently being built out, here is grounded guidance on what staff should keep in mind when working with New Outlook.
What New Outlook typically changes:
- A modernised, simplified ribbon and navigation pane
- Closer feature parity with Outlook on the Web (OWA)
- Some legacy COM add-ins may not be supported
- Settings and preferences may need to be reconfigured after switching
You can toggle back to classic Outlook during a transition period using the "Try the new Outlook" toggle in the top-right corner — but confirm with IT before doing so in a managed environment.
