The national ALTA Title & Settlement Agent Registry (ALTA Registry) is a public searchable online database of underwriter-confirmed title agent companies, real estate attorneys, and underwriter direct offices.
As a realtor, you are not eligible to become a Registry subscriber.
However, we do offer public searches of the ALTA Registry, which do not require a login (simply click the Search link on the upper left hand side of the page).
We also allow Realtors to create their own login (by selecting the Realtor Portal link at the top of the page) which provides the ability for Realtors to save their ‘favorite’ title agents as well as invite agents who may not be listed, to request their Registry listing.
For reference, I have included steps for performing a public search below. Please advise if we can assist further.
Steps for performing a public ALTA Registry Search
- Go to www.altaidregistry.org
- Click ‘Search’ in the sub-navigation menu
- Check ‘I’m not a robot’ and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Enter the ALTA ID or Company Name that you are searching for in the text box and click search
- If you enter your company ALTA ID (INSERT ALTA ID) you will be directed to the listing.
- If you enter a company name you will likely be taken to a search results page. If you locate the listing you are looking for, enter the ALTA ID directly in the search box and click ‘Search’ again to be taken to the listing.
