Baseline re:Members (formerly Impexium) Name (Display Name)
This field is calculated based on 4 custom fields noted below.

If "Short DBA Name" exists, use it, overrides everything

Else if "Use LEN?" is checked and "Legal Entity Name" exists, use "Legal Entity Name"

Otherwise, use "DBA Name"
If the fields below are NOT entered, they will NOT be populated by the baseline (Display) Name field.
DBA Name
The standard/original normal company name. (Due to Registry integrations, this field has "address information" included for some ALTA Business Structures.)
Legal Entity Name (LEN)
Added for Registry work since can be different from DBA.
Use LEN?
Choice of which to use for ALTA Business Purposes, can be edited in RMS by the member.
Short DBA Name
Added for ALTA communications purposes when the company name portion of the DBA name should be used (LEN isn't right) but without the address embedded.
Registry Use

Both "DBA Name" and "Legal Entity Name" are displayed in the Registry and set by RMS users

"Use LEN?" can also be checked by RMS users if they prefer the LEN for ALTA Business purposes.

"Short DBA" is never involved in Registry
CHANGING NAME IN re:MEMBERS (FORMERLY IMPEXIUM)

You must change BOTH the default "Name" (top area) and the relevant name below when changing the name.

If you only change the Name at the top, and there are different names below, the script will "recalculate" and overwrite the upper default Name with the lower names based on the rules.
