This page walks ALTA members through the step-by-step process of renewing their membership online at alta.org. Any current or lapsing ALTA member who needs to complete their annual renewal will use this guide.
Made with DASH A.i.Follow these steps in order to complete your ALTA membership renewal. The process takes only a few minutes and is completed entirely through the ALTA website.
Before you start: Make sure you have your ALTA login credentials ready. If you have forgotten your password, use the password reset option on the alta.org login page before beginning these steps.
Step-by-step details:
Visit www.alta.org and select LOGIN NOW. Log in using your existing ALTA member credentials.
After login, select "MY ACCOUNT." This takes you to your personal member dashboard where account and membership details are managed.
On the Overview tab, select the yellow "Renew" button. Be sure you are on the Overview tab — this is where the Renew button appears. If you do not see it, confirm you are not on a sub-tab such as Profile or History.
Answer the renewal questions, then click the green "Next" button. Work through each question and use the green Next button to advance through the remaining steps and proceed to checkout to complete your renewal.
In practice: If the yellow Renew button is not visible, your membership may not yet be within the renewal window, or it may already be active. Contact ALTA member services if you believe this is an error.
