Managing Committee Visibility on ALTA.org Purpose: To establish the process for managing which committees are displayed on the ALTA.org Leadership & Engagement Groups page.
Business Rule: Only committees intended to be displayed on ALTA.org should have Show in Directory set to Yes. Committees with this setting become eligible to appear on the website after the overnight synchronization process, provided they have at least one active member. Inactive committees, test committees, and internal affiliation committees (identified as AFFIL_XX, where XX represents the state abbreviation, such as AFFIL_MD or AFFIL_TX) should have Show in Directory set to No.
Please note that committees with no active members will not display on the website even if Show in Directory= Yes.
