These standards should be sent to the Decorating Company every time a new floor plan or existing floor plan update is requested.
The import file format is .dwg which cannot be viewed without specialist software, which ALTA does not have. The only way to determine if the file is of the correct format is to perform a mock import in re:Members (formerly Impexium) Sand box. If the file is not correctly formatted data will appear in the loaded plan that is not required and will inhibit a correct loading.
All that is needed in a correctly formatted file are; the booths (outlines and numbers) and the room outline. Nothing else, nothing outside, none of the detailed wall or door setups, sizes, tables, chairs, and so on. It’s ONLY for booths for our system to be able to import and pick things.
-
Layer with Booth Outlines (you always have this, labeled, and correct)
-
Layer with Booth Numbers (likewise you always have this, labeled, and correct)
-
Layer with Outline of the Room (at its simplest, like the attached file, just a single line outline of the room)
Anything else that’s in the file WILL import. We CANNOT edit the file ourselves, we CANNOT skip layers, etc.
