Policy Forms License Subscription. The PFL Subscription can be found on the Organization Record at Purchases > Subscriptions > Active Subscriptions.

PFL Subscription Products. There are multiple PFL Products. The PFL (Member Benefit) is added automatically for ACU, ACA, REA, ATXA, and TX-REA Members. The PFL (Paid) and PFL (Fee Waiver) are also available.

PFL Renewals.

In the Website Portal visible to Customers, PFL Subscriptions that are Member Benefits or Fee Waivers do not appear for Users to self-renew because they are part of a larger process driven by re:Members (formerly Impexium) processes (automatically adding the PFL (Member Benefit) to the applicable memberships) or by ALTA website code (PFL (Fee Waiver)).

PFL (Paid) does appear in the Website Portal for Customer Users to self-renew or purchase.

Q4 Bridge. Since October 1 – December 31 Memberships automatically extend into the following year, it’s important to have a way to establish a current-year PFL for Q4. Q4-specific PFLs subscription products will be established.

Current Compliance Type. The Current Compliance Type is populated by an overnight process which creates that data point, which can be found at Account > Organization Info.

Fee Waiver Processing in the Admin Portal. Waivers can be processed in the Admin Portal by Staff Users or via the ALTA website by either the PFL-holder or by a staff user using the Website’s About > Staff Functions > Log In as a Constituent

Login As. Fee Waivers processed in the Admin Portal by staff users require that the Underwriter Relationships be set manually; it may be easier to use "Login As" since no financial transaction is needed.

Admin Portal. In the Admin Portal, each end date for the UW Relationship(s) must be 12/31 of the Waiver Year.

Fee Waiver Via ALTA Website. The Fee Waiver PFL Subscription is added via the Website Portal by the Customer completing the Application, which creates a Relationship with each selected Underwriters for the current calendar year only to reflect the PFL qualification.
