Software Updates: Users should promptly install security updates and patches for all software to protect against vulnerabilities.
Password Management: Users must follow the company's password policy, including using strong and unique passwords for each account and changing them regularly.
Phishing Awareness: Users should be vigilant about phishing attempts and report suspicious emails or messages to the IT department. ALTA uses KnowBe4 to reinforce knowledge and provide training to help users recognize phishing emails and other BEC attempts.
Internet Connectivity: Avoid public WiFi whenever possible but, if you do use public WiFi, please enable your VPN access to ensure security between your PC and the intended destination.
